With all the buzz around Apple Watch and its imminent arrival on store shelves, we can ask ourselves: what’s next for Apple? Which product category might Apple tackle next? Virtual reality? Autonomous cars? Drones? Why not? What if Apple were to make a quadcopter?
Eric Huismann, a graphic designer in Germany, actually envisioned an Apple “drone” concept that fits the technology brand’s utility and minimalist design aesthetics. The sleek quadcopter sports four powerful rotors to enable greater stabilization for camera activity. The four mounting video cameras are able to capture 360-degree panoramas and cinematic 4K videos that can be streamed directly on to YouTube for instant sharing and broadcasting.
In all honesty, we don’t think Apple will attack the drone category next. It seems too niche for now (at least for Apple). We love the concept though and it might interest an upcoming player like Xiaomi.
